Community Engagement Plan (CEP)
How will we be reaching the Fergus Falls community? What types of activities will we use, and when will they happen? The plan's Community Engagement Plan (CEP) lists and describes the tools and approaches we will use. The plan's Project Steering Committee (PSC) has reviewed and refined the CEP.
Key reference documents
Several documents are important references for the plan. Some of those are documents completed by the City (like its Complete Streets resolution of 2012) while others are guidelines and design manuals developed by the Minnesota Department of Transportation (MnDOT), the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA), and other agencies.
City of Fergus Falls Complete Streets Resolution
Adopted unanimously by the Mayor and City Council in 2012, the resolution commits the City to addressing the needs of people of all ages and abilities (including bicycle riders and pedestrians) when planning, designing or rebuilding streets and roadways in the City:
